There are now two funds that you can make a donation to:
Strides Of Pride Running Fund - Donations to this fund will allow me to continue to honor the fallen throughout the United States by helping with race fees and travel expenses. The
entry fees for most marathons range from about $75 to $150 or more, and travel expenses nearly double that. I
would run a race or two each weekend if I could simply afford it. Donations will also help offset expenses for my planned "3000 Miles For 3000 Victims - Run Across America". There are numerous expenses involved in living on the road for three months along with 1-2 crew members. Food, gas, and renting an RV are the most costly items, and I simply can't do this run without help. I run to bring attention to our fallen soldiers, firefighters, police officers, EMS and the 3000 we lost on 9/11. It's all about them and reminding others of their sacrifice.
24 Hours For 24 Heroes Fund - Donations to this fund will strictly be used for this event. We need to offset
expenses such as advertising, permits, concessions/supplies for aid
stations, safety equipment, and rentals (portable restrooms, tables,
tents, etc.). Our goal is to make this an annual event in the Kansas
City area and charge little or no fee to participate in the future. Your donation will
make this possible, and help us continue to honor Kansas City's fallen.
